Fundamentals for a successful wedlock...
# please_read
From where the couple - Chris and Maria - sat, entwined on a couch, watching Dr. Uma's MARRI 101, a television programme for couples, they took turns in feeding each other fried cashew nuts.
"...,prepare yourselves for the potentiality that kids might not happen, then, if they don't, you will be better prepared to deal with it.
I always advice people to consider infertility before walking down the aisle with their respective partner, and to marry, not for any reason other than love.
Children completes every marriage, our people say, but I personally don't buy that. What if the child didn't come, talk more of children? Does it mean, a marriage without children isn't complete, or worse, won't work?
Let me tell you guys, what completes a marriage is love, as, though children play wonderful roles in most marriages, theirs is secondary.
You know, with or without children, my lovely wife, Miss Vivian completes me and our love completes our marriage. To me, she got no substitute, say sexually, charm, brilliance, managerial skills, name it. I've got several bad habits, but you won't notice, why? Because she got my back. Years back, people advised me to divorce her, due to her feminism, but I didn't, because I cherish her." Dr. Uma said.
"Agam ahu unu abuo n'anya, ubochi ndu m nile. I will cherish you two for the rest of my life." Chris said, caressing Maria's belly - she's with a child.
"Having talked about infertility... do you know that every couple ought to have children, whether fertile or not, as there are several legal procedures to get one, nowadays.
That's a good news, or, is it not? Now I tell you, those days of going from one religious places to another are gone.
People, I urge you to explore medical procedures like, IVF, In Vitro Fertilization, a process of fertilization by manually combining an egg and a sperm in a laboratory dish, and then transfer the embryo to the uterus, or IUI, which involves a laboratory procedure to separate fast moving sperm from more sluggish or non-moving sperm, or full or partial Surrogacy, or even adopting a baby from a government authorized orphanage...
Special thanks to you for watching this episode of Marri 101, do keep a time with us, still your host Dr. Uma.
Good morning, afternoon, evening, and night, people.
Do have a love life."
